Thank you for your interest and participation in Cornerstone’s The Kingdom Journey: Building for the Generations! We received 130 commitments pledging $2.2 million toward the $5.7 million initial plan which was designed to address our need for more lobby space, new classrooms for Adult Sunday School, adequate bathrooms, and space to address Sunday Worship service needs.
After assessing the gap between the funds pledged and the projected cost, and reassessing the initial plan, the Building Committee and Church Council recommended to the Church Annual Meeting on Dec. 4th that the best way to move forward to address our facility needs was to direct the Building Committee to work with our builders to create a better plan at a better cost figure. That motion was unanimously approved! Beginning in January the Building Committee will begin meeting with Hasslen Construction to thoroughly rethink how our needs can best be met at a reasonable cost. Our goal is to have this new plan presented to the church during the fall of 2026.
Thank you for your support and prayer as we strive to make sure Cornerstone continues to help more children, youth and adults find their spiritual home in Jesus Christ!
